    Gluing Rubber or Leather Cord into Bayonet Clasp Ends

  • Choose a diameter of cord that is slightly smaller the the inside diameter (ID) of the clasp end or a clasp end that is slightly larger than the cord diameter.
  • A small amount of room is needed for adhesive to secure between the clasp wall and cord.
  • Too tight of a fit does not allow for enough adhesive to secure cording in the cap ends.

    This clasp comes in sizes:

  • 16.0 mm (L) x 1.75 mm (W), End ID 1.2 mm
  • 16.0 mm (L) x 2.50 mm (W), End ID 2.0 mm
  • 16.0 mm (L) x 3.50 mm (W), End ID 3.0 mm
  • 17.0 mm (L) x 4.50 mm (W), End ID 4.0 mm
